Bucket Seat problem !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all

My corbeau forza sport seats and subframes arrived today, as im using the car for track days. But what do you know the sub frames are so difficult to fit. I cant see where Im supposed to bolt them into. Can any one give me some advice. Have I got to get them bolted in by proffessionals??

depends if uve got universal frames or frames for ur particular car, if there universal then itll be more than likely that u'll have to make ur own mounting points, altho i thought they weren't selling universal frames anymore as they were sed to be unsafe in a crash. :roll:

are they universal or subframes made for a nova?

They are the subframes made for the nova. It has two forks that stick up at the back im thinking they are for the harnesses??? Help!!!!!!!!!

also for your harnesess u bolt them to the sides where the seat belt sits and the buckel end of the seat belt dont u :?

cant get a pic up but its like virtually impossible to bolt them in, think they need to be bolted through the floor

How has everyone else fitted their bucket seats in?? Did the subframes fit or did you have to drill holes through the chassis??

mine are standard nova ones with the seats welded to em so cant help you on that one mate

i had to bolt mine through the floor at the back

phil do you have two like forks that stick out at the back..is this for your harnesses? I take it the round tube at the front sits in the groove. And then bolted down just on the back bar??

thats sound about right part from the harness bit, only on part of the harness will fit on to the frame an that is at the side

what seats did you take out

if so, you wont have the little U clips that slide over the metal bar at the front

no look at the back is there like a L plate with a bolt going though?
if so this clamps under the orignal runner :)
