Got a 1994 bmw 318is at the moment which is to slow, thinking of getting a nova as a play thing, been looking at Lockys 5dr but dont know if id like a 5dr? when i get one all i wana do is gsi kit, stripped interior, buckets, 15's & either gte engine or 2.0 8v? what you guys think? want somthing that will piss over redtop cavs as most of my mates have them!

Sounds like some good plans you got there mate.

If you wanna piss over redtops then your better off getting the 2.0 16v redtop engine yourself and whacking that into your car.

Welcome to Novaload mate.
The only way your gonna beat a red top is to put one in a nova, a redtop Nova will leave the cav for dead.

2.0 8v will keep up with a gsi and i would have thought a nova with a 1600 on twin 40's will give it a good run for its money

Whats an 8v 2.0L bhp, about 115, a nova 1600 on twin 40s is around 120+, so it would be close. Novas always have the weight advantage.
