Maybe quite a common question, but what's the offset of the MK1 and/or MK2 standard 3-spoke alloys that came off the GTE, etc.

M3 mirrors OR DTM mirrors OR the new-fangled m5 mirriors?

the ones that came off the GTE/GSI where slightly different from the others? Bout 47.5 Someone will probably tell me im wrong. Not too sure though

i had a set of gsi rims on a 49mm,
and i dont think u will get a great view from, any of the mirrors,
but dtm would look best...

Im looking to put a set of the standard 3 spokes on my MK1 5 door currently with the standard ET49 steelies

So, basically, what ones, if any, would fit?

any vauxhall 14s will fit its only when you go bigger than that that you might experience rubbage

early ones were only 4.5" wide and 49mm offset..

later ones are 5" wide and 47.5 offset

Early ones are also 5" wide and ET49.

I have ET49 x5J on the rear of mine and ET47.5 x 5J upfront. Mate has ET49 x 4.5J on his.

i never have any problems with dtm's i found m3's akward as they stick out like a fooker
