Ran out of petrol :(

Wot a day, well stressed! I was driving along, seen a white nova in my mirrior, dodging in and out, trying to get a clear view so he cud overtake, I kinda know the guy so thought we cud have some fun. Dropped into 3rd and took off - raced for a wee while along a shore road, then just as I'm slowing down to pull into my town, the dirty Fcukin car conks out! :O
So I'm just crawling along, by that time the guy has caught up wi me but we're now in a 30 zone, so I just camly pulled my mobile out, pretended to speak to someone and pulled over. Waited for him to pass, then I had 2 walk a mile to the petrol station! I spose it's poetic justice.
Not sure wot kind ov nova, maybe a 13SR. Sitting in office sweating cos of that trek to the petrol station now :'>

oh dear.
at least you had the good sense to fake a phone call to save embarrasment though.
and why dont they make petrol cans look more like holdalls or ruck sacks so people dont see you off to get some petrol knowing that was your car abondonned a mile and half back down the road.
last time i ran outta petrol a police woman gave me a lift 10 miles home for some cash then to get petrol then back to car.
i wanted to marry her at the time... she was my hero.

when I ran out of petrol on the motorway the police ignored me and no taxis would come and pick me up. I had a seven mile walk home in the rain at 1am with only t-shirt and jeans. I had blue nipples when I got in.

I've only ran out once, and the car was at the front of my house......luckily!
