i always here bout whacking the calibra engine in a nova but wot sort of performance duz it get, eg. topspeed,0-60 etc.

not sure what the 0-60 of a valver is but i shall find out at trax, topspeed you'll find the speed will go off the clock being as nova speedos are crap an they only go up to 130mph. But they do do the 1/4mile in around 14/15 secs which is about 2 seconds faster than calibra witht the same engine due the bloated weight of the cavs/calibras

had mine off the clock at 6700rpm, on 185/60/15 tyres. roughly 140-145mph

0-60 of the Boost-beast valver is 2.6 seconds or something.

yeah, technically i suppose its a 32valve.
My valver ran 6.4 0-60
Top end 146mph (indicated)
1/4 mile in 14.89
RR at 178bhp

166bhp, exhaust plus power cap and filter.
done 14.5 quater mile. been clocked at 145 by m3 evo

2.83 seconds 0-60 each engine is 370 bhp ! A reasonably fast nova :lol:

they are all the same engine
Mate of mine has a 2ltr valver on twin 45's, was in it when it hit 147mph, was still pulling!!!
