Right! I think this is pretty crazy idea but will look nuts!!!

OK, it goes like this!

Everyone here robably knows about my new white lockwood dial! LOL (Its getting boring now)! I have replaced all light bulbs in the dash to ultra blue LED's, now i am faced with the prolem that actual needles can hardly be seen! Solution came here.... Glowing Paint! Ok there is this company that sells all sorts of coloured photoluminiscent paints, starting from green and ending red! They quite cheap as well! What do you guys think of painting needles in this paint? LED's will keep paint charged to glow and it will look nuts if dash is blue and needles are red or purple!?

Any thoughts!?

a little advice give people chance to read you post before u ask sayin "no 1 likes it"
not havin ago mate its just ive nly just read it and am on here every day so people might miss it :wink:

Been there, done that.... lol. Watch the LED's though - unlike normal filament bulbs, they tend to have a very shallow beam of light, so aren't very effective at lighting up a dial set and are much darker than filament bulbs. If you're gonna do it, get white dials as well so u can see the dial face.

I do have white dials and I just got myself wide angle ultra bright LED so they are just like normal bulb! The glow paint can be bought at www.theglowcompany.com or co.uk! I will try nd send pic!

Sorry for earlier, usually it takes you quicker to react LOL
