looks good mate but i will say that it may be worth changing to boots on your steering rack now you have painted them as they may crack with the paint and fail your next mot,

good work tho

well today started really well. Engine in, mounts made, all bolted up. Started getting the engine ready for the first run, started from the bottom working towards the top, all going smoothly until... the gear selector was stuck, the box wouldnt come out of gear. 5 hrs messing, trying different things until it would select a gear. So in that 5 hrs we could have done wiring, adapted exhaust, done water pipes, fitted radiator and fan etc, then just wait for the driveshafts to turn up on wed, but looks like we might have to be busy all week now   . But should still be ready for the bbq next sunday.

It does indeed look like a awesome example of how a conversion should be done.

Well done Chris and congrats on sorting out the selector etc!
