as im getting more and more annoyed with my car and trying to fix one thing and it creating 10 other problems ive got to totaly strip down my rear brakes and fit it all back and bleed system front and back, really dont want to as ive lost motivation and just cant be bothered with it as nothing EVER goes right with it.

Does anyone else get to the point where they just cant be bothered to do anything on their car any more.

Yes ive been to that point many times.

And am at that bloody point again. Ive seriously thought about my options over the last 3 to 4 months witht he car. eg sell/break/ect A decision has been made tho and we will see what happens i think 8)

Just have a break for a short while then get the problems sorted :)

Same

once ive repaired one problem, another pops up!

just had a new cv boot, bit of spot welding on the zorst and tightened the alternator belt!

and now the whole zorst system has come off again (welding broke) tracking and camber needs doing, as does the front end, i need a whole new front end rebuild as nothing is aligned, the headlamp faces up to the sky and the wing sticks up!

and theres too many creaks!

but we do insist on owning novas! vauxhall obviously didnt put much thought into them, as there are too many design faults!

Mate stick with it.

I was at breaking point when re-wiring my car, it was giving me such stress with fuses blowing, fires and generally not going well at all. It was becoming all I could think of and sleep of! I just put it all down for a few days and didn't touch it, then when back to it fresh and eventually finished it. The longest 4 weeks ever but it was worth it.

It will be worth it. :D

This is why i've re-newed 99% of moving parts on mine, to make sure that once i start driving it, i wont have these problems!

Have a look round it, see what common faults there are, and get them all sorted, should see you loads of hasstle free driving.

In my white Nova, in 2 full years driving, 12 miles to work, 12 miles to where most my mates live, and over 20k miles, all i've replaced is 2 wheel bearings and a number plate light bulb! :D
