you will need an injection fuel tank as you will need to run a return feed. And it just happens that i have one of those for sale

you can use a carb tank as I am running a mk 1 SR tank on my XE. The only advantage of running a GTE/GSi tank is they have a swirl pot in them.

They do, but yuou need the swirlpot in the SRi/GTE or Gsi tanks. Alternatively run carbs...

you dont need the swirl pot to run injection as mine hasnt got one but it is an advantage to run one if you are going to drive the car hard

yep thats right, I dont really notice it unless the car is nearly out of fuel, then it does it all the time.

im running a carb tank on my xe as well, only problem is i have to keep it above half a tank other wise it some times starves the engine of fuel, apart from that it all works fine.
