a let is a 2.0 turbo mate out of a calibra or cav

if you dont wanna fit it i can recomend a lad off here who'd do it

another way is to XE it, and then turbo convert the XE engine

altho i've looked into this and heard of problems to do with the intercooler or rad fooulingthe manifold and the lack of space for all the extra hoses !

a good LET engine is kinda looking at ?1000

By nissain silvia , do you mean a 200sx or whatever they are called ?

my cousin used to have one and it was a pretty bad car, not as fast as it sounded !

hehe, there is...and not any different from fiting an 8 valve or a 16 valve except the intercooler, and 3000 quid to do one....is that supplying 10 engines? geeze.........why dont u lot try n do it yourself?? dolly dimple..

its still not cheap even if you do it yourself.

even if you convert a N/A engine to turbo your looking at a fortune to get it running properly

its all about doing things properly!!!

takes time, money and lots of patience to do any sort of engine conversion thats meant to be there, there are different degrees of difficulty, but it does depend on what you expecting as an end product

Get over the idea of fitting a turbo, even if you fit a cav turbo engine(C20LET)the engine and ecu alone is gonna be ?1000.
Get a 2ltr 16v (C20XE) from a cav gsi, cali 16v or astra 16v/gsi for ?300ish,use nova gte shafts with cav inner cv's,a mount kit from valvers.com mod the zaust to fit,and fit it all yourself and it can be done for less that ?500 and youve got yourself a 155bhp road ripper!

thats if you can can weld, as i hope you wouldnt think of droping in an xe without welding the engine bay. If not then welding isnt that cheap to get done properly.
