Is it possible to fit the gte fuel pump in the engine bay so I dont have to change the fuel tank?

would this hamper the performance of the car i.e fuel shortage when cornering.

The reason you need a GTE tank is for the internal swirl pot, not the pump.

Also the pump is gravity fed so the pump must go on the rear chassis leg, what a bi*ch it is to change the fuel tank (filler breather is a c*nt) and get the stupid bolts in for the pumnp to leg.

Swirl pot provides a constant feed of fuel to the pump so that when you go around a corner the pump isn't starved of fuel and then starve engine of fuel.

It is possible to use the old tank without a swirl pot but you will have to keep it above half full.
