gsi engine into 1.2i nova

will the 1.2i fuel tank and loom suffice to take the gsi engine?
can i just plug out the 1.2i ecu and plug in the gsi one?

All you need from the 1.2 loom is your ignition live, The gsi loom has its own ecu live that you connect to te battery, you could also conect the rev counter wire from the old 1.2 ecu plug to the new coil which should also be connected to the clocks or the loom going to the clocks.
but dont cut away the car loom that you'll need e.g. oil pressure wire, alternator wires etc!
you will have to connect a gsi pump up to the tank as the 1.2's is not enough pressure to run this engine at the correct pressure but it will run with it.
