2.0seh 8v engine conversion NEEDS/MUSTS?????????????????

just wondering wot r musts or deff needs 4 when i convert my engine from a 1.0 2 a 2.0 8v i know i need 2 up grade breaks/suspension but wot else is there if owt cheers

just look at the guides on valvers.com etc for the xe, i will say that you dont have to do the clutch cable mod tho or the heater matrix one as they come no where near the 8v. :D

It IS possible to use the 1.2 box and shafts cos I did this with my 1.8 8v but it'll probably rip them to bits!

I'll explain if needed cos it's quite long winded.

Drivers mount just needs lowering about 2 inch, chassis leg need a beating and the exhaust needs bodging but apart from that its easy.

Oh and wiring but that is a piece of cake, std alternator and starter and guage senders to be used from nova, dizzy and ign loom may well be needed from donor car.

silvia engines were 1800's bitch! the driveshafts u need are nova GTE with cavvy MK2 inners from the 1600 big blovk... fits easy! 28 for the inners new!!

the rest piss of piece:P...just with the 1.0.. need to change the ignition wire, red i think to a bigger wire as the 1.0 runs on 9v not 12-14v as the 1200 onwards runs!!!!!
