what pressure should my tyre's be
i usually put about 32 in the front and 30 at the back

tyres are 195/45/15

i run 28 all round on 195/45v15. the less pressure the wider the foot print of your tyre will be = less wheel spin, more grip. so your 195 acts like a 205. so loads of pressure = skinny foot print. 32 is too much. 1/4 miles you wanna run 24-26psi all round. :)

higher pressure is for better handling since the tyre wall wont deflect so much as you enter the corners, so the suspension can do its work ;-)

lower pressure so you get a better contact patch imo

i run 24 front 22 rear on 195 50 15

i ran the omega on book pressures for a few weeks and it was ok. (28.5)

then upped them to 31psi all round and it was a little bumpier BUT handled loads better due to the tyres not deflecting too much.


tyres are a black art. and i suggest reading the artcile CP wrote (its down the bottom of the main forums page)

at the end of the day it all depends how you like the car to handle.....
