Sn pics of a nova with the rear windows tht open?? the same kind of desgin on zx 3door, fiesta etc

look through the "old school here it comes" post and am sure theres a pic of one with them in there, then post it and see if anyone can tell you who the owner is and what site he uses or a email addy for him so you can find out how he did them........

In my first post of photo scans there should be some pics of Jason Hudson's L reg silver GSi (Has 15" Blades on it).
AFAIK his is the only one with opening rears - you can get the parts from GM abroad and they aren't too difficult to fit (I've got a fitting guide in a old PNG mag somewhere), although ou do need to cut a couple of holes in the B post for the hinges to slot in to.

there was a post in technical a long while ago about this..Ste nova is the guy to ask for part numbers etc, as im sure he had them. He also said that you can use Astra ? hinges as well? they were about ?44 afaik..

i think they're pretty cool, wanted some for my nova :)

all parts can be got from vaux.... some cars allready have the holes for the hindges... glass is clear or brown no gsi green tint.... glass is ?22 per side retail..... most of the hinge parts are shared with other vaux cars so you only really need the glass and nova specifc parts (the main body of the hindge afaik)

lol - afaik means As Far As I Know

So what Ste is saying is that you only need the Nova glass and the main body of the hinge as far as he knows, the rest can presumably be made up from other Vauxhall parts but they don't have to be Nova ones.

Whats the security like on them? Novas are easy to break into at the best of times.
They do look smart though, shame there's no gsi tinted panes to be bought.
