hay all just been told that a 1.4spi inlet manifold woud fit my 1.2i and inprove perfomance how hard is it 2 change the inlet and the wireing or do i just use the same wireing as the 1.2i??
i can't say i've heard of that before, but you may be right, could be something to do with bigger size ports.
You'd be looking at having to get round the problem of the gasket, as far as i know no wiring would be involved - it's just a manifold, not the whole SPi unit ontop.
it would be a straight forwards procedure if it's worth doing.
Someone will beable to tell you if ti's worth it performance wise, never heard of that before tho !

stay clear of spi conversions. they sap power with their restrictive inlets and heads.
