if u ring eurocarb and tell the spec of ur engine they will reccomand u the right jets, chokes etc etc.

why dont you tell me the spec and I'll do it, since I worked for weber for 5 years and have built more competition engines on them than most!

It easy to work out what jets and chokes you need. There are plenty of web based resources that describe it. You'll probably still need to fiddle with them depending on the engine mods and how you want the car to drive.

You could fit the carbs as they are to the 1.6 (assuming they were set up right for the 1.4) and then drive it, as is, to a RR to have it setup. Cheaper than buying jets only to have them changed.

most of the web based stuff is pure nonsense! . for starters the manifold choice comes into play with idle jets.. cam shaft choice has a big influence on air corrector and I know from experience in competition which emulsion tubes work and which dont..

Even the series of the carb and the number of progression holes makes a huge difference.
