Looking for some 6x9s and spotted these on Ebay.
Are they actually 500w per speaker, because they are gonna throw some serious bass if they are.
Will these run off a HU, 50wx4,probably a stupid question. :D

Infinity are crap, avoid at all costs, they blow up off a head unit amp.

They smoke, they distort, theyre utter shit.

Fusion 6x9s are the way forward.

just go in to halford and press the little red buttons :D then you can find a set that you think are a good set, i dissagree with lashednova with the infinity thing, that sound good when used properly :roll:

did you have roadstar speakers with infinity written on them? lol


i had/have reference 6*9's and they are amazingly clear and perfect. not punchy on the bass, but hey quality not quantity lol

If you want noise, these or any other 6x9 are perfect and if you want quality then go for a set of front co-axials or components.

had no trouble with infinity, ran a sub for ages, amped of course, was good clean crisp and punchy, but not covered at the front, killed it trying to play it through the corner of a box.

gto Jbl 6x9s are well worth the money at about 35 quid , they were in the top 10 chart and they are like half the price of the bigger names.

personnely i think the latest pheonix gold series are ace gonna have to purchase some myself, but if u cant afford much jbl gtos are the way forward these sound grate and are cheap as chips

i disagree mate ive got jbl 6x9's and find them very poor

fair enuff ^^^ lol, are they the 330w gto series the ones b4 the gtos are pretty lame iv had both.
