Right i may sound like an idiot, but don't laugh !

i'm about to get a Gmax suspension kit (60mm drop) , and i've heard that uprating your bushes to poly bushes makes for a stiffer and ultimatly better handling car, my car is a mk 1.2

What, where, and how do i purchase a set of these bushes ? , how hard are they to fit ? which bushes will i be replacing ?

i'm pretty fermilier with the suspension/steering set up so i don't need that much detail !

thanks Nick

You can and should get them from http://vaux-md.net/vmddevelopments/

There is no point in buying polyflex or whatever.

The bloke there will recommend front swing arm bushes, tie rod bushes and rear axle bushes.

They aren't that bad to fit, but I haven't tried to fit the rears yet.

lol, are you on commission?

I got mine from http://www.deflex.co.uk

good fit, good quality, and good price. worked out about ?35 for TCA, tie rod and rear beam bushes inc VAT and delivery.

also if your after some other polybushes for the rest of the car (eg steering rack) they have a bigger range than most.

so is it really worth doing ?

thanks, i'm pretty familier with components so i think i pretty much know what ones i need now.

How much do you think a garage would charge to do it at the same time as the Struts/springs.

My car is a mk2 1.2, will be 60mm drop on gmax kit and 195/45/15 MVk 3's with yokahama tyres

what kinda handling improvment do you think i will see ?
