Digi dash fault

well i think my digi dash is on its way out but im not sure its only just done this but i need to fix it. my temp gauge was still on cold with no blocks after about 5-10 mins then it started shouting up and down all the way to the red and then back down to nothing i could here a clicking from the dash when it does it but also it keeps changing from mph to k/m not to bothered about that but i need a temp gauge any sugestions is the dash knacked

Does a digi dash have a speedo cable plugged in the back, that could be clicking.
THe temp could be a dodgy temp sensor connection, or the connection at the dash end.

The digi dash has an electronic speed sensor!

Is it like a relay clicking? I'd get your old dash, put 12v and gnd to it and take a reading off your temp sender...(which model nova?). If that does it then your sender is fubarred. If it reads correct and digi don't then it will be digi dash fudged.
