Heater problems

Ok, everytime I turn the heater switch to start blowing out air the box that sits in the battery tray starts to smoke and nothing happens.

Do I need to replace it? What are the possible problems.

I'd say you have a small case of foobarred motor.

Unless it is just stuck and burning out the motor.

Time to get the WD40 out and try releasing it.

If not, I'll get a new one.

I'd remove the heater motor and WD-40 it that way. Much easier to see if anything has seized it like dirt.

I feel there maybe problems with this.

The bolts are rusty, I will have to do this slowly and patiently.
