Hi everyone,
The time has come to sell up and start again, ive been offered ?1,200 to sell my Flair to a lad at work minus the 8v digi dash, manta mirrors and the head unit. ive took him up on his offer. Ive got a Pug 106 XSi to run about in, im now on the look out for a GSi in silk violet, i went down to london to have a look at the white L reg GSi in the back of TV but it had to much rust, i only want a silk violet gsi now. I think ill try some 16" softstars or maybe some more 16" meagane rims ill wait and see. Do you think ?1,200 is a good price?
Here's a few pics of my flair:-

If anybody knows do www.Novanutz.co.uk still sell nova's because i cant get any info or pics up?
Cheers Craig
I like your car mate but TBH i wouldn't give you ?1200 for it, i would be offering more around ?800-?1000.
So if he gives you ?1200 take him straight up, it seems a good price for you. I have seen some valvers go for around ?1200.
Still looks clean and sound mate. :D
Good luck with the look for a silk violet GSI.
?1200 for a 1.2! :o Take his money, you wont get a better price than that.

I got offered ?3500 by a lad who worked in a petrol station when mine was a 1.2!
But thats Northern Ireland for you, people will pay over the odd's for car's that can be hard to find, In these case's, Mint Novas!
I wouldnt sell it mate, its absolutely mint, and i cant see you finding a GSI in the same condition! Stick with your plans and keep at the 1.2!
Keith
Keith - buy it, drive it to Ireland and resell it!!
keep the flair mate it looks absolutly mint
do an engine conversion or something like that

^^^^what he said!
yeah mate id agree aswell although youll never get ?1200 for a 1.2 again it is mint and if you are after a gsi it would be hard to find one that clean and would cost you a bit to make it good - just whack a gsi in yours :D

Exactly. If you can't fault the bodywork and it is sound you're probably not going to find a cleaner GSi.

Cheers for the coments lads, im not sure what to do i know ?1200 is a good price but like most of you have said it will be hard finding a clean gsi, im now thinking i should stick with the flair, the shell is mint no rust/rot its really solid, and i suppose the money i spend on a gsi, could be going on rebuilding the flair
Ill keep everyone posted on what im doing.
thanx for your time Craig.

Ive been speaking to my mates who have a GSi 2.0 16v LET and a wide arch XE and both think i should keep it rather than selling, then not being able to find a clean gsi which i think makes sense, so im gunna give it 1 week and if i cant find a clean gsi then im gunna take mine off the road and rebuild that, and just get a cheap nova to run about in while its being done, ill just have to wait and see.
Cheers Craig
