hi all..was wondering if the escort mk5 boot opener could be modded 2 fit in my nova 2 open the boot when iv flusehed it..on the escort u pull a little leaver thats next 2 ur seat and it pops the boot open kinda like the bonnet opener on the nova any ideas or help on this ??

its a simple solenoid. send a current to it and it moves. Same as central locking. You can use it for your boot. There is only about 5 companies who make boot/central locking solenoids and the manufactures buy from them. they are all the same.

They are really easy to fit and work really well, just don't park in a low area as ny the time you have pressed a button the boot will open and hit summat!

Also a lot more secure than a lock as these are easy to leave unlocked and they look gay.
