basically, you can buy a stamp whenever you have the cash and put it into a little book and then when you come to get your tax disc, you just hand over the stamp book. It's so that you dont have to shell out all at once, it spreads the cost out for you.
2.0 16v on its way soon!!!! :D

This time around, I only paid for 6 months tax 'cos I'm not keeping the car for much longer. Normally, I'd pay for 12 months...always have in the past.
It's nice now 'cos cars up to 1549cc pay the same low rate of smaller engined cars, so this time round, it was only ?105 for 12 months, or ?57.75 for 6 months.
GTE's and GSi's just miss out on this, so have to pay the higher rate of ?160 for 12 months, or ?88 for 6.

I have done it for 6 months this time coz in came on the same day as the MOT which could have been (but luckily wasn't) expensive, but normally I would do it for a year. ?88 for 6 months of driving on knackered roads. BASTARDS !!!!!!
Ease Yourself Back Into Conciousness !!!!!
