For Fuck Sake, its a NOVA website, about NOVAS for people who are interested in NOVAS.
I know this is muppet, so you can have stupid posts, (awaits Marty, Wisewood, Neil and co. :lol: lmao, they are funny as fook to read, jokes, Chris 16V always puts up jokes which are good to read, intersting gaming websites, down-loadable films, pictures, you get tghe idea, that is MUPPET.)
But why the fuck have we got a load of whinging people going on about so called 'Chav' language, i am a 'youth' to many of you (17), but it actually does my head in seeing loadsa crap posts about nothing but shit.

This is actually the cool.Marty show, and not Muppet Corner.
I agree with you tho, just about everything Wisewood and Alex post IS utter rubbish and brns my retinas just from reading.
But BURGO is here to stay, he's a keeper.
I agree, I'm blaming the management here. The simple solution is to do something with/to Wisewood.

Lets be honest every post in muppet corner is pointless. However a understandable, readable pointless post is better than a chav pointless post.
Quite a few people have expressed their opinions about text posts, some in public, some privately. A majority of regular members are against them.

Exactly. THAT is why it is not tolerated. No you CAN'T just ignore it, because posts are threaded and thus you have to sift through the illegible garbage and it WASTES time for those that are actually interested in reading any posts, just so the chav can save himself a little bit of time. You don't know what the fuck you might find when you click on a link, and it pisses people off when they find a load of TXT crap. And also when it is littered though-out decent posts.
And HOW does it make it quicker typing combinations of letters and numbers using a QWERTY keyboard!? And half of the TXT words are just same number letter alternatives to their literate counterparts.

Yes doing something TO wisewood, with a cactus, would seem to be the most logical solution to the problem in hand.

I understand how some people get bothered by "txt" or Chav or whatever you wanna call it talk..but the fact is, there are some people out there that cant help doing it. There are, and indeed could be, a number of reasons why, and i aint gunna get into them, cause that'll start another argument, but it seems a bit harsh to me.. i have been the "butt" of a LOT of contraversy with the way i talk. My accent/language is dictated by the place that i live in, and i know that burgo is struck by it too...but question is, would admin remove/delete a post that is confusing due to accent/language?
I generally ignore the topics, or posts that are written in so-called TXT talk that i find hard to interpret, so why are there STILL arguments about it all? if you dont understand it, ignore it, or dont read it. fact is, people dont get on with everyone, or understand everyone a lot of the time, but thats no reason why you should start singling out a couple of people cause they cant or dont talk the way you do..

Muppet corner anything can be posted, that is the point of it. When the things like tech forums are full of "I iz after a wikid K&N for me m8 to be8 iz cuz" i get annoyed. Ok you say ignore it, but every other post is in chav so you cannot really. It IS actually quicker and easier to write in a proper language than in chav when on a keyboard.
You say we speak different english around the country, however we are all taught to write the same. At the end of the day we speak english. CHICKEN lol. When was the last time you were taught in an english lesson to write "m8"? It IS far quicker to write "mate" as opposed to m8. That is the whole point of the qwerty keyboard.

Since my post is actually a public information post advising everyone that talks like a tw@ that they are going to have their posts removed if they annoy me... i dont think its a waste of time to be honest. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but with the amount of regular/old school members we have that are annoyed by posts like those mentioned.... its ABOUT TIME we did something about it.
