not sure why you would want to but anything is possible

well the main thoughts behind it were
- weight saving
- sequential box!
- noise (think ducati!)
- originality
- still small capacity engine

A nova might be a little on the heavy side. Motorbike engine make big bhp but have little if any low down torque. If you did, it would have to be TC'd or similar. Could possibly have two.

nova would have to be stripped... and be mostly fiberglass or carbon?

what about a twin hyabusa engined nova, with the two engines in the back???, maybe get em turbo'd aswell, on an all carbon/fiberglass shell.

now thats a project :D

go take a look in the pits at an autograss event. you'll find plenty of ideas there.

i saw a hyabusa engine in a tigra before so would be no different to do to a nova really.

it was well fast and was killing everthing in its class. and the sound hmmmmmmm

sounds like a great project, really innovative, but it would fly in a nova, cus a tigra must be heavier...

i have an old fastcar mag from 95/96 or summit with a green nova with a bike lump in it, if i recall it was a ninjalump or similar

theres a mini with 2 hayabusa engines in it!

it would no doubt be costly!

only problem would be the clutch, on bike you use your hand to do it more softly and on cars there big clumbsy

I have thought about this and only recently a friend has found a place up north from me that will do it. My cars certainly light enough, although I'd have to change the wheels. Still not sure though, might take a trip up there and have a look as they speciallise in putting motorbike engines in cars.

All those revs imagine the rev counter :D
Don't bike engines go upto 13000rpm or something stupid

think of the radical oh the power nova alot heavier tho

the clutch wouldn't be a problem, in principle it's exactly the same.

that certainly is interesting reading al!
i wonder if they were 2 do a conversion on the nova they'd make it mid engined and rwd.
it could turn out 2 b quite an expensive excercise!!!

Certainly not cheap! And the car has to be extremely light from what the pages say.
