is there any way that i can check on a cars history/owners, etc... preferably online and free????

I can get you info on car make/model, number of owners, last owner change, colour, fuel type, date of first registration etc.
I don't know how upto date it is though.
i can use my mates service that he pays for each year, he won't mind.
If you want the info whats the registration plate.

When on the home page, click on 'my Rac' on the left and then you will need to register with them. Once this is done (takes about 20 seconds) you can automatically check number of previous owners, last owner change etc etc.
It will then take you to a link called 'car data check' i think it is. I have tried to go on to this site today though and for some reason it won't let me on. Keep trying though as it's very useful and 100% free.
