Looks? 17's but performance 15's. obviously performance is even better on even smaller wheels but you can't get huge brakes underneath

Good girls go to heaven, bad girls come with me :D

well, seeing as how I have just bought some 16's (yes, that's right I got rid of my venoms!!!!!*ahem* venom copies I mean!!) I think 16's are the best!!!! :)

2.0 16v on its way soon!!!! :D

i like venoms.

i heard that its 6-9 inches, but the G-Spot is only 3-4 inches in. I also reckon the gurth is important.

Shit am i on the right site, oh never mind. lol

I like 16" i think ians looks ace on 17"'s i must admit, but if you are going for performance then 16"'s would prob be the best. Also try and go for alloys where the spokes reach to the outer alloy rim as they look bigger than they actually are.

cheers

15's generally the best for handling on tarmac, but 14's or even 13's are best in rallying.....on the rough stuff, and some 13" alloys allow you to use big brakes....."They're Revolution RFXs and have about 1mm clearance as long as you have the balance weights in the right place!!!!" (quote from the bloke I bought my JP zorst from) These are 13x6"

For looks, it depends on the rest of the car....big kit requires big wheels to look right, but I think bigger than 16" on a standard kitted SR/GTE/GSi look too big for the kit. I'd never fit larger than 16's

One thing though.....GTE's/GSis and other models fitted with the 3-spoke alloys have 175-65-14 tyres, which have about the same rolling diameter as 16" wheels on 195-45-16 tyres, so 16's are fine for handling too.
My 15's with 195-45-15's are an inch small on rolling diameter than my old 14's with 175-65-14 tyres, so I lowered the car by half an inch (about 13mm) just by changing my wheels :D

I must admit, I did like my venom copies, but they were a pain in the arse, cos they used to catch stones and things as I drove along, so they would end up chipped!!!!

2.0 16v on its way soon!!!! :D

Performance and less scrub hassle = 14-15". 16" =fair compromise for looks and performance. 17" = looks only as performance is starting to be seriously compromised unless you've got buckets of hp. 19" = OTT on a small car like a Nova.

15's dropped 60+mm cheapest best option.
16's if you want big wheels but no bottle
17 look great loadsa hassle.
18's look too big on novas, waste of time.
