if i do my front hub nuts up fully the little groves for the split pin are further back then the hole, id have to let the nut be slightly away from the hub, which wouldnt be good.

Ive got the washer on, could i use two washer?

What would be causing the nut to go back so far?

my wheel is wobbling and i think its because the hub nut is not tight enough.

but what he is saying is that if he tightens it up the castle is too far back and the split pin wont go in. I think there is a problem with the bearing neil as it was ok before you striped it down and had the new bearing fitted, or was it?

you mean it sits back so far that witht he pin in you "could" still turn the nut?

or have you just got a castleation in the way of the holes?
