Hi guys!

I need some help! I need to replace my rear wheel bearings! Never done this before so how do you go about it and what torque settings shall i use? PLEASE HELP!??!?!

the haynes manual (not the max power one) should have the job detailed in there, all you need to do is get the bearing(s). or alternatively if you cant be arsed, take it to a garage somewhere and get them to do it, but it will cost much more if the garage does it.

Yeah get a bloody Haynes manual or get one from the library if you're poor! They're piss easy do it at home. Only thing I'll add is push the hand brake cables in to drums to release the shoes or you'll be sorry!

ive never had a problem when leaving the cables in place lol.


when doing it all back up on the 24mm nut, hav ea screwdriver handy and "move" the washer as you tighten, when the washer just about moves then its tight enough

if the split pin holes dont line up back the nut off.

I thought you just do it finger tight and back off to align holes.

thats the "official" tightening procedure for taperd bearings with that setup

if you can just about move the washer freely then its fine
