This is how it looks so far:-
After 16" Masitaly V5TRs, clear front indicators, powerflow twin pipe backbox.
Also fitted DTMs but not in pics.
And go an Apex 40mm lowering kit to get fitted.

looks well but maybe take the two back doors off!
Cheers for the comments.
My plan is to buy stuff for it that can go on a Nova.
Me astra has 12months MOT, which it just about scraped through, it won't pass next year, there will be too much rust.
So then i will turn it back to standard, sell it, buy a Nova and fit my stuff, or sell my stuff if the nova is already modded.
So this is just a run around for a year.
The car is a 1.4spi, the same engine as in the 1.4i Nova.(60bhp), not really quick, but will do until next year when i should be 18 and have 1 years NCB and so hopefully be looking into a 1.4SR/SRI.
Lets hope it all goes to plan, and i pass me test on 24th august. :D

Yeah really wanted a 3door, but its only for a year.
I will get a Nova 8)

whats the point spendin hundreds on a runaround? would you not be wiser saving it for your proper car

I haven't spent hundreds, i bought the wheels for ?250, and they will fit a Nova. So i ain't lost anything. :?
Also how much would you expect a nova like this to cost.

Thats what i will be looking for, and then just put my alloys on.
The suspension kit and exhaust i could sell seperately later on.
Hopefully it should all work out.
looks nice now mate, good idea about the interchangable parts, but keep looking for the nova
oh and good luck with your test....

Yeah mate, theres no surface rot, just underneath, up around the suspension and the door sills.
It will looks miles better when lowered 40mm on an apex sport kit.
looks nice mate always liked astra mk3's doesn't matter iff its a 5 door
shame about the rot but its a could idea that u want to swap parts from the astra to a nova.
why not look for a nova now tho?

Simple mate, ain't got the money.
If i had enough i would sell the astra tomorrow and find a nova.
I have ?500 left towards insurance which i will pay monthly, so any money i get from work etc can go towards a Nova, plus xmas money and my 18th birthday money(some of which must be accounted for by beer,LOL).
Just got to get a job, which shouldn't be too hard as i should be able to drive there soon, McDonalds here i come
Has anyone got any suggestions for a job.
Can't wait till next year now :D
The only reason i got the astra for a car is that the offset is the same as a Nova, and i could get 18's on without any arch mods.
Roll on 24th august and then the Nova search is on.
FInally can anyone help me with this, the astra forum isn't as lively as novaload.
Just a question about my backbox:-
