Open the Yellow pages and phone as many companies as you can. Bounce quotes of each company till you get the best deal. Insurance varies loads between people, its too hard to say who the best company is.

no problem now...Liv Vic changed my quote (they quoted me at another address)

?876.59 - Fully Comp with any mods at no extra cost

I am well happy with that!

Norwich Union quoted me a similiar price (?3 difference) with a lower excess, breakdown cover and personal injury cover but they would not insure ANY sort of engine modifications because of my age...and that just will not do!

couple of other quotes...

CIS - ?2100 - Fully Comp :o
Adriun Flux - ?1758.59 - Fully Comp

Glad its done now...weight off my shoulders for another year

Sorted.

Mine came through last week too.

CIS TPFT ?640, mods covered (incl 1.8conv...got to change to 1.6) and ability to drive any other car.

I finally have a car too that is worth more than the insurance charge!
