am sure i read on here once how sum1 got a quote 4 a 2.0 8v and they used the highest 2.0 8v car which was a cav so it was cheap

i have a 2.0 seh 8v engine an wiot i did was get a quote 4 a cavalier instead and it was ?1800 an ive been baneed 4 5yr and no licence so cant b 2 bad that was with confused.com tempeted 2 just reg it as a 1.0 like it is on the log book would it b a good idea 2 get it changed ?cheers

Im with Liverpool Victoria and im paying ?580, 20, 1 yrs NCB, excess of ?500(because if i was to crash my own car and its more then ?500 to fix then its bound to be totaled!) Car on drive way.

the insurance group isnt really an issue because its not an engine u find standard in a nova so it will be different for each company u try.

i did the same thing with liverpool victoria for a 1.6 as i had a 1.2 origionaly. I informed them 3 times that i would be putting a 2.0 in. I rang em the other day to confirm as it is going in. Now they've turned round and sed 2 me i cant do it and that id have to pay the ?500 to continue driving with the 1.6 in it. So bassicaly ive bn drivin round for a year and payin for it, wiv out ne insurance. I just toldem 2 f**k off and got a fresh quote. What im trying to say is i wouldnt trust em!!! waste of space. :evil:

Passed at 17 been drivin nearly two years, havent done a pass plus.

Thats insurance on a 1.4 sri not a valver, just incase u thought i was payin that on a 2.0.
