my company has just recovered in a k reg calibra turbo with 54000 miles on the clock, should i keep it and put the engine in mine or who wants the engine ?

If it isn't kev it isn't worth it !!!

wheels are 45 mm off set but i amgetting 4mm taken off them so they are 49mm

I take it they scrape a bit at moment.

I thought machining wheels reduced offset. that'd take you down to 41. closer to inner arch?

nah it gains offset. i have got a tiny bit of rubbing on the o/s arch. i dont think they will hit the inner arch, coz i am running 195 tyres

Is the engine ?500!?!?!?!?!? if so I think I want it, anyone wanna buy a 2.0 16v standard engine!?!?!?!?!?

Dave, put the turbo in yours, then you can have that dump valve you crave !!

Whats the engine like, is it fairly clean, if so I'd put it in yours, unless your still thinking about those throttle bodies, then that would probably be quicker.

David, ive managed to clear 2 - 3mm on my rear arches simply by just gently pulling on them very gently every now and then, my wheels used to scrape a lot 15x7 et39 and now they dont scrub anywhere at all (fronts is a different story! :O) might be worth doing before you fork out for increasing the offset! if they are scraping on the inner arch, just take a rubber mallet to where its hitting and tap the arch back.
