To nova saloon mate!

The thing is is that it is a bit wider then original one so it has to be cut i think. Now the other thing is is that the metal bar behind the plastic bamper is no the same and the cav bamper has to be modified to be able to fit! I am wandering how shal I go about it? Shall i just put it on new bolts or glue it or what!?

all you have to do is take the irons off the two bumpers then put the nova one on the car (with no bumper) then cut the bumper skin(cav one) so it sits rite on the car, put some fiberglass onto the iron (while its on car) then put the bumper skin onto the car (sittin on the iron) let it set. then as it will be weak with only a few bits of fiberglass undo the iron (that will now have the bumper on it), then whack loads of fiberglass onto the iron to fully secure it . then put it on ya car an job done

makes sense to me but anyhoo good look, btw if you havent got the bumper yet have you thought about a calibra one?

Look up yellow pages mate for glass fibre speciallists - it'll be much cheaper as Halfords rip you off for stuff like that. I managed to re-make most of the rear bumper from ?10 worth of resin/matting, the same amount I used if bought in Halfords would have been over ?100!

cut the bumper in half.

take a llittle bit off each side of the bumper until its the right width.

make like a mounting pods out of Fiber glass and fiber glass it in them to the bumper.(would be like a boxs that are stuck to the bumper with bolts coming out of the top wich will go in to the mounting holes on the back of the car and then would be bolted up)

that what i would do. i will draw somthing on photoshop so you can see what i mean if you dont get it.
