Ive got a 1.2i that handles like a peice of jelly on stilts.

im getting 16's next week, but whats the best way to tighten up the handling??

Im lookin at 60mm springs.

i thought seeing as the car aint exactly fast i could at least go round corners faster than others

cheers all

get the best spring and shock combo you can find for your cash. preferably bilsteins if you can stretch to them. a car does not have to be silly low to handle well just be well damped. (obviously it will handle better lowered than standard height.)

once you have the suspension done then get rid of the front anti roll bar do the camber mod that is explained on here several times or get eccentric top mounts.

everything he said but you will find there is no antiroll bar up front so job done, but fitting one to the rear beam would be useful, just get one from a gte/gsi beam and slap it straight on :D

also check your wheel bearings, all bushes, bottom ball joints, trackrod ends, and the strut top mounts are all ok. if thats the reason for your poor handling, big wheels and stiffer suspension will only make them wear out even more.
