It seems the bmw forum i post on don't seem to like the fact i own a nova and prefer it to my bmw...
There is a lot of truth in some bmw drivers being stuck up arrogant **** who think there better than anything else on the road.
This guy got a bit pissed off that a few BM owners were saying how they once owned novas and how much they loved them..

well it depends on what style bmw your talking about. a E30 older than breenys a GSi would beat a 320 easy!! and a E36 shape ( breenys) i think. mah mate has a 318is (E30 shape) with around 160bhp and the my GTE has is slightly faster, only just though.
as for BMW drivers in general, most are arrogant. especially the older drivers!!

i hate bmw drivers. after beeing made to look like i was standing still at 120 on the motorway. (new m3 :twisted: )
alot of bmw drivers have the rep ststus or exec type role, so they think they are better.

a gsi would destroy a 320, you wouldnt need to worry about any of em below a 323.....

i used to own a 316, an it was crap only thing it was good for was going sideways round corners. A 1.2 nova would have battered. After a few weeks driving it i could feel myself becoming a bmw driver i.e overtaking while there is traffic coming head on, just basically being a tit. But it caught fire in the end :lol:

not quite a saxo driver as i didnt meantion the bit about waving at cute guys which would have pinpointed the fact that was starting to drive like saxo owner. :D
Lol i am a stereotypical bmw driver... motorway.. straight to 100mph, outside lane.. cruise along none the wiser to anyone else lolol
The 4 cylinder lumps are crap really.. but there not designed for performance in mind so thats expected really.. The 6 cylinder cars are much better, they don't feel quick at all but the power is so smooth. I went up to Crewe the other week, and then to see Rick in Macclesfield, then back down to London, back upto LB where I live.. all in an afternoon sat between 100-130 all the way, no way in hell could I have done that in my nova! Would have had no teeth left for a start lol
But I'd still rather have my nova at the end of the day... 8)
I'm saving up for an E46 M3 aswell.. god I'm in love with them cars!
I can never see why people buy BMW's i mena the indicators seem broken even on new ones :o :lol:

big cars are soooo good. perfect for long journeys etc, and they arent that slow to be fair.
now ive got my EBC's on it stops like a demon :D
Breenys beemer is nice and it goes pretty well. Unfortunatley theres a few narrow minded people (some of those people even frequent these forums) that think there cars are the best thing in the world.

I love my car but i hate doing any trips in it. Its so uncomfy makes me wish i had a big car or didnt fit the bucket seats :cry:

Wooden benches that we use to have in school are more comfortable than buckets!
although the clio is a hell of a lot quicker than me old vectra, the vectra would happily sit at 130 all day 5 up
