whats a transponder for on a digi dash??
It replaces the speedo cable with an electrical one which sends pulses down the wires instead of turning the cable (which is really a long spring like cable).
If you are doing the conversion with one that has been in a nova check the the wiring harness as the colours on bodged wire at dash end may not reflect the real colours on plug end, I had black red green which thinks would be obvious but green was wired into live at plug not speed.

sorry to hi-jack the post but i dont actually have the wire that runs from my transducer to the back of the dash, and was trying to run 3 separate wires to make up for this but couldnt get it to work properly. Does anyone know which pins on the transducer are live, neutral snd speedo signal. Cheers.
You are fitting to a 1.2 SPi right?
Taking the signal from that to run dash? Well.....
...You only need to run the signal to the dash, the others are only live and earth for sender, get from elswhere usually or on a 1.2 already attatched.. Live and earth will be brown and black or red so signal wire will be the last remaining wire.

About ?70 from vaux....for an AH one...
dan-hipgrave...flick the red switch on top of the dash first, I had this and just flicked that over and it works fine, there are rumours that it is for the different tyre sizes avaliable on the astra GTE but it is to change between different transducer types.
