MOUNTING A GTE PUMP TO A CARB CAR

HAS ANYONE MOUNTED THIS TO THERE CAR AS I HAVE MOUNTED IT IN THE ENGINE BAY AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE FUEL PRESSURE IS TOO HIGH. I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS DEFINATLY THE PROBLEM SO ANY SUGGESTIONS?

yes the presure is way too high. you only need a mechanical lift pump or a facet pump for a carb.

wait are u fitting a GTE pump and ENGINE to a carb fuel tank??

if so the pump must be near the tank - the bosch inline pump they use is not a lifter pump, the inlet should be gravity fed with 10mm hose which is why the inlet on it is huge compared to the outlet
