to be fair, if you dont know the car, from those pics that have been posted in this thread, it doesn't look anything special, just a tidy nova with the usual mods.

The pics in the feature cars section show some more of the car with a few of the interior shots aswell.

Your totally missing the point! "Okay, its black, has a 2.0L and speedlines. I'm sure thats ALL it has too!"

NO, look at its spec, its got alot more trick mod's than meets the eye, just because he hasnt fitted jap bumpers, silly paint and 20" rimm's doesnt mean it aint Different!

Just got this months issue. Nice feature on Nicks car, but you cant help but think "where's all the pics of his car??"

There's 4 front pictures, an engine shot (doesnt really show the bay, just the rocker cover!) a Picture of his Fuel cap? WTF?

I wanna see side on pics, rear pics etc!! They wrote line after line about his custom rear lights, but not one single picture of them?

The feature of the corsa was much better done, loads of nice pics of the car, why cant they do every car like that?

Total vauxhall need to get there act together, they either need new photographers, or maybe the editor just isnt selecting the right shots, anyone agree?

I have to say I agree mate. I like the feature they did on mine but they weren't some of the most inspirational photographs I've ever seen and the layout is not too great either. I personally thought the point of the features is to show the unique aspects of the car, not just 'by the book' shots of front etc.

Thats why (although people will slag this down) the Max Power magazines have these 'famous' photgraphers like Fly because they take good pictures. I can't praise enough the photographs Mark from Redline took - even though the day had very varying weather conditions they all look excellent. He even sent me a CD the next day with all the photographs he had taken (120 odd) so I have a copy of all of them, not just the ones Redline used in the feature. Having said that the write up with these mainstream magazines is pretty much a fleshed out specification list with some 'witty' anocdotes.

What we need is the photographs from mainstream magazines and the write up from Total VX.

The thing that annoyed me most with TV is the attitude of the guys. It was like they couldn't be bothered. The journalist didn't really even look at the car and most of the article are direct quotes that I emailed him afterwards!

Added to that they were most persistant before the shoot that I found a suitable industrial type location. I spent a good few afternoons driving around and eventually found an empty brand new industrial warehouse that would contrast well against the car - it was 20 miles from my house but I didn't mind for the sake of some quality photographs. When they turned up for the shoot they decided that they knew the area better than me and that they'd use a quarry 2mins from the M11 junction they got off at! I reluctantly agreed and ended up with a broken rear bumper. I didn't even get an apology.

One thing that annoys me above anything is that Jon (Walsh-the ex-editor of TV) said the car would be shot as a cover car! Depending on the quality of the photographs would determine whether it would or not. Case rested about the photos - I'm sure things would have been different if Fly had been employed.

I know I'm probably being pathetic and picky but it is us that provide the cars that sell their magazine so I think they should be more considerate.

Im here!!

Jules txt me to tell me about the topic!! cheers Jules...

Busy as Fcuk at work trying to get straight before i go away...

Thanks to everyone for the comments...

At last my car is in TV!! but im disapointed!! 8 pages is excellent the write up was ok (not 100% accurate though) alot of quotes etc

Max (www.featurecars.com) did the photos and took loads of them, i reckon it must be down to the editor as to what photos get published... the photos shown i feel don't do my car any justice at all... no full car shots of the side / front corner / rear etc.... like i said Max took loads of them!! Im going to have to get in touch with max and get him to do a cd for me with all the pics on...

Jason Simms did the write up... he's freelance i believe.... seemed a nice enough bloke... again down to the editor i think..

Cheers again!

That interior is fantastic! I bet it took a while to get the roof to look that taught - I know what a nightmare it can be. And how can TV not put a picture of the rear lights in - I've never seen them like that before on a Nova so surely they're unique and feature worthy?
