View Full Version : FAO peoplewith 15's and lowered (easy favour)

could someone do me a favour and measure the gap between their arch and top of tyre and state how much the car is lowered so i can work out how much the new runnabout is lowered by, i need to drill out the top mounts to alter the camber as the old tyres were shot and dont want to replace them agian in the ear future,

195/45/15 front lowered 40mm from std not GSi 2.5cm ish between arch ant tyre.

Don't know the back as it has steels on cos arches need modifying to get wheels on.

thats gotta be 50 or 60mm unless the tyres are ???/50/15

my mate has 60mm kit on 195/45/15 and they are .5mm gap front and halfway across tyre on the back.

See my feature for my old one on 40mm with 205/45/16 on.

mines is about .8 mm!! on 195/50 tyres and its lowered 60mm!!
