i havnt spoke much on here for a while but bout a week ago i mashed me 1.0 engine. so i bought a 1.2 doner car. both engine are out and im soon to both the new one in...but one thing i noticed -

the 1.0 only had one feul line coming from the tank. the 1.2 has a return pipe on the carb so there is 2 pipes from the tank. rather than running a new return line could i just put a T peice before the pump?

Sounds like a plan to me.

If your'e tank has the return nozzle then put a pipe in as you have a donor car with lines on. But your'e idea sounds good, it will then re-circulate any unused fuel back to pump, try it but watch for the pump circulating all fuel and not giving carb enough.

I had a different setup that worked....it was a carb with no return, and feed and return pipes, I just put a t piece to reduce fuel pressure before carb, so it went pump to t piece to carb or or return pipe. That was a 1.8 and had no fuel starvation problems.
