if i were you i wouldnt bother as the little carb will not be the right size from the engine if you want to go the carb route then get webbers thats what i would do!
Put the injection system on, it's easy to fit!!! (once you done it a few times)

yeah but have the hassale of changing the fuel pump and stripping the loom
I run the pump to a switch (not telling where as it is my immobiliser  )
It works well as long as I remember to turn it on.

a 2e3 carb of a cavalier might fit. Thats if the ports on the head/inlet manifold are the same.
if ur trying to make ur 1.2 faster, uve got 2 choices.
ones cheap and ones fun
1) gsi engine
2) psuh it of a cliff and buy a 1.6?
just a fort? i now u av2 start sumwhere.
i had a 1.6 on a twin choke webber in my old nova. it was pretty dam quick for what it was and was so responsive unlike the shite injection novas have. just get a nova sr inlet or cavy inlet match ported to the injection head. easy to do even with no knowledge at all. the bolt positions are the same then just whack the carb on and get it solling road set up.

Yet more good advice from you
my advice is all gud.
shame your spelling is crap
u said a 1.2 i? well if it is the internal fuel pump on the tank it works well with the 1600 injection i founf no power loss or anything when i done it, only when i put the 2.0 in the car it lacked pressure and i had to change the tank and put an external pump on it!
