C12NZ Limiter?!?!

i know there has been alot of debate on this topic but i couldnt make out an answer from previous posts. so does the 1.2i (C12NZ ENGINE) nova have a rev limiter??
just so i know incase a decide to destroy my tyres!!!

i hav the same engine its a j reg, i was sat in it reing it wen something got stuck and it revved 2 about 5,500rpm and sounded like it hit a rev limiter but it came unstuck so it only blipped once.

yes they have. its at 6000 rpm i think

hi m8 yeh iv got a 1.2i j -reg its got a rev limiter think it cuts in at 6.600

don't know what revs mine limited at but it definetly had a limiter (thats untill i threw the injection system in the bin in favor of carbs)

all injection novas did have. carb models didn't.

I have one on mine comes in on the yellow part of the 8v digi rev counter (6,600 - 7,000 ish) seems quite high really but sounds great if you change just after the first limit(?)
Is there any way of adjusting these, i.e. is it ECU controlled or ingnition controlled?

mine had a limiter, they still dont like high revs though. I ended up destroying it haha
