its been slow progess really with buildin my 2lt as well, but the axle is still waiting to be cut down at the engineering shop. I cant really do much more at the moment until i have the rear axle. I have sourced some wide wheels an slicks for the back 13x10 inch mmmmm.

Looks like its going to be a bit of beast. :D
the v8 is lighter than an xe as its all ally block. also it has eonough torque as standard to pull a house down
And there's me thinking there was nothing more to be done on Nova's!
Keep it up mate

it is suprisingly light for its size, which is one reason ive gone for the rover one an not a big ass american one

i remember fixed it with the 3 foot iron bar then towed it to scrap yard. It wont be on the road anyway so insurance shouldnt be a problem.
come on some1 say to him wots the point if it aint going on the road thats all ive heard since ive sed bout puttin a v6 in mine we'll have to have a race phil
V6's are slower than an XE conversion and Ian has proved it.. lol
Unless your on about putting it in the back..
but on the other hand I would love to see another V6 nova on the road.. :D
praps puttin a standard v6 in is slower but i didnt say it was gonna b standard did i

I just think all Novas look sh*t. I've never driven one, I've never been in one. I couldn't care less who drives them. They look w*nk.
Quite a narrow-minded individual isn't he. Still, i suppose we've got one or two on here too who foolishly believe that the humble nova is better than EVERYTHING else in the world, without question.
and yes... i am one of them lol.
dont worry phil mines along way off from bein finished theres no rush
