it should be easy to get the snapped bolts out, just drill the centre of them and use an easy out (can get them from any tool shop or motor factors,) or just drill them right out with the correct tapping size for the thread used (m12 which means u will need to use a 10.2mm drill bit) and re-tapp the whole. check that it is m12 before you do but im sure it is

okay thanx but the car is in the local garage as we speak and the bloke is workin over-time to do it the problem we hav is that u cant get a drill in the space to drill them out! so is it worth spending the money in labour to get it done or shall i scrap the body and sell the parts on?

weld a nut to what?

If its flush with the block that would be impossible.

thats exactly whats happened and its done the bolt that holds the tentioner pulley on as well and the garage r struggleing wit it because of lak of space but heh im killing two birds with one stone coz it needed a new cam-belt anyway! but im still without a car a week after it happened and its doind my fcukin head in! :(
