i was in motorworld today and seen a rage 3" back box, i just thought that i would see what your opinions of rage back box's are.
i have two question to also ask:
1 how easy are they to fit?
2 how loud are they? i heat really loud zorsts.

1. Universal 2.5in fitment but all come with connector pipes for different diameters etc. ANd all come with brackets.

2. Mine is really loud above 2500rpm but I have the bung things removed - with them in its much quieter. And I have a complete straight through with stainless manifold so that makes it louder too.

do they come with pipes so you can get them to comeout stight on a mk1???

The ones I've got came with lots of connetors etc but it was Powerflow who fitted them and made up the bends etc. It won't be a straight fit as they're all universal.

if your not going for perfomance then rage are spot on but if you want decent power from your engine they will loose you back pressure. (unless you have a turbo that is.)

Never been a problem for me. Problem was when I had no rear section of exhaust - mid way through bodykit mods - and no back pressure.
