2.0 XE Conversion Rear Gearbox Mount/Linkage Prob.

Doing C20XE conversion to my GSi, using F20 gearbox & mounts from Brian (valvers.com), rear gearbox mount is from F10, but the linkage is catching with it.

Any advice ?

Are rear gearbox mounts different on F10, F13, F13cr ?

i think you need the gearbox mount off the f20 an the original nova linkage. Cant quite remember exactly what we did for mine but i think thats what we did.

also make sure you have turned the white plastic knuckle 180 round where the linkage connects to the gearbox.

basicaly you need a bit welded onto your original mountng, change the white connector abuout 180 deg a smeone said before, and ifyou can get the gear linkage from a 1.0 nova gearbox fit that as it is curved andjust misses te gearboc and speedo cables etc... if not, heat it up and bend it slightly!

or alternatively just whack the standard nova linkage on a standard nova rear engine mount with the spacers to fit the box and it will fit. thats how ive done all my conversions and never had any problems.
