Different Size Radiators

I am aware that the 1.5TD has a much larger Radiator than the one I had on my old SR, are all raidators the same apart from the TD Rad or are there lots of different size radiators?

Think the Nova GTE/GSi ones were the biggest (still used in 2.0 conversions)

GTE and GSi ones are the same as the 1.2 and above.

GTE/GSi etc are made by Valeo apparantly and are much higher quality than the other crap. All listings I've seen for rads show 1.2,1.3,1.4 etc the same, then 1L seperate and then GSi spersate again....

my 1.2 rad is fine with my 2lt

early 1200 and 1300, all the 1600's and very late 1400's had the larger rad (it goes right down to the cross member instead of standing on those 3-4" legs)

the rest will have the smaller one although some motorfactors only stock the large one these days and supply that for all the models bar the 1.0 and TD which have different pipe work

owning a td myself the radiator is huge it goes between the headlights and reaches both sides easy! definetly bigger than the rest
