performance gains?

right then, i am looking to buy a webber DTML carb or a sr carb for my 1.2. the thing is i dont really no what difference they will make on bhp and hpw quick it gets up there. I know the webeber carb is the better option but by how much? also is there any way of putting a different cam in without take the cam box off?

you don't need to take the head off to remove the cam. i did this last wednesday.
